What is Yoga?
How do you feel after yoga class? Do you feel that the experience was not only physical? That feeling is real. Yoga is an ancient practice of which asana is only a part. In this course, we will explore the foundations of yoga, and the source of the “good feelings” that the practice creates. This knowledge will enable you to deepen and personalize your own practice for years to come.
Part asana, part conversation based in-depth course on yoga. We’ll explore yoga from ancient teaching to modern relevancy.
Inspired by the lineage of Krishnamacharya we will be using the book-”the heart of yoga, by Desikachar” throughout the course.
