Project Description

Whether you are new to yoga or want to reconnect with the basics, this 4-week beginner series is designed to provide a solid foundation so that you can build a personal practice and move safely in group vinyasa classes.

You will learn the mechanics and benefits of the most common postures practiced in group classes including standing and balancing poses, twists, forward folds, backbends, arm balances, and inversions. You will learn the importance of the breath and the elements of the sun salutations. Attention to alignment and personalized modifications will help you prevent injuries and cultivate a sustainable, lifelong practice and love for yoga.


Many students feel prepared to venture into group classes right away, while others choose to take the series again. Either way, you will develop the knowledge and confidence needed to either start or deepen your yoga practice in a warm, fun and supportive environment.
