Meet your hosts!
Mary-Kate Jackson has been enjoying the outdoors since she was a young kid growing up in Maine. She has a passion for moving her body, which yoga fulfills on the daily, and sports like surfing, skiing and mountain biking light her up. She has been teaching yoga for 10 years and loves to share the benefits with others so they can experience what a daily yoga practice can do to enhance all the other movement practices in life to build strength, resilience, and avoid injury.
Sherry McConkey has been dedicated to her practice and teaching others for over a decade. She has over 800 hours of yoga training and says she will always keep educating herself to deepen her understanding. Between raising her daughter Ayla and running her non-profit, the Shane McConkey Foundation, she is constantly learning and kept on her toes. Even when life is extremely difficult, she finds her way back to her mat. Her goal is to help people find yoga for their physical bodies because it's a perfect way to give back to ourselves so we can continue to play and appreciate our beautiful world for the rest of our lives.
