Yoga & Nature Expedition Retreat

Patagonia, Chile

February 1-7, 2026

with Jen Breen and Mary-Kate Jackson

Join us for a truly unforgettable retreat as we head south of the border to the breathtaking landscapes of the Puelo River Valley in Chilean Patagonia. This immersive experience blends yoga, nature, culture, and adventure in one of the most pristine corners of the world. Our home for the week is Tawa Refugio, a rustic-luxury basecamp nestled in the heart of Puelo Profundo, where the real magic lies just outside your door. Wake up to sweeping views of the river, mountains, and forests, and settle into a rhythm of exploration, connection, and grounding.

Retreat Includes:

  • Accommodation in a comfortable refugio-style room overlooking the Puelo River and surrounding wilderness.

  • All meals crafted with local ingredients, served either in the Tawa restaurant or as gourmet outdoor lunches during excursions.

  • Open bar (select wines and premium spirits not included).

  • Daily guided adventures led by Tawa’s expert team - curated to our group’s pace, preferences, and curiosity. Activities may include:

○ Trekking through lush Patagonian trails

○ Kayaking crystal-clear rivers

○ Horseback riding with local gauchos

○ River boating, hot springs, and typical Patagonian-style outdoor meals

○ Cultural experiences like beekeeping and learning about gaucho life

  • Ground transportation to and from Puerto Montt Airport

Daily Yoga

Each day begins and ends with yoga or movement sessions designed to complement the day & adventures. Expect grounding flows, restorative practices, and time for writing, meditation, and deep rest.

Meet your hosts!

Jen Breen is a yoga teacher, community leader, activist, writer, and joy catcher. Mostly Jen finds her gift in holding safe and brave spaces to simply be human in all of its beauty, complexity, messiness and awe. Jen finds ways to help people connect to what is true and to consciously and creatively move that energy through the body, on the page or in conversation. Jen founded the Bainbridge Yoga House in 2007 on Bainbridge Island, WA. She has been a teacher for over 25 years. Currently she teaches yoga, meditation, and Wild Writing. She is also the facilitator of Mom's Morning Retreat - mentoring and nurturing moms.

Mary-Kate Jackson has been enjoying the outdoors since she was a young kid growing up in Maine. She has a passion for moving her body, which yoga fulfills on the daily, and sports like surfing, skiing and mountain biking light her up. She has been teaching yoga for 10 years and loves to share the benefits with others so they can experience what a daily yoga practice can do to enhance all the other movement practices in life to build strength, resilience, and avoid injury.
